Noir Movie Screens

The fest for fans
and future filmmakers

You like post-WWII American crime dramas? Cynical heroes? Stark lighting? With a little existentialism thrown in? Welcome to the first annual Dallas Noir Fest! Presented by Winston & Strawn and produced by Johnathan Brownlee and Torfoot Studios, this four-day celebration of noir films and filmmaking will be packed with classic examples of the genre, panel discussions, book signings and parties.

All films will be shown at the Angelika Dallas at Mockingbird Station so you can see them as they were meant to be seen – on the big screen with big sound and a big tub of buttered popcorn. And all proceeds will benefit the SMU Meadows School of the Arts, Division of Film and Media Arts.
Angelika Dallas

With spacious auditoriums and a polished, modern lobby, the Angelika Dallas provides the perfect backdrop for the Dallas Noir Fest. And you’ll be comfortable, too – state-of-the-art auditoriums, wall-to-wall screens, digital surround sound and large, cushy seats. It’s all at Mockingbird Station, 5321 East Mockingbird Lane, Suite 230.
